 | 280 gr. fresh anchovy or sardine
fillets |
 | 250 ml wine vinegar |
 | 1 garlic clove minced |
 | 1 tablespoon dried oregano |
 | 90 ml extra virgine olive oil |
 | salt |
 | ground chilli pepper (to taste) |
 | 4 slices coarse textured bread |

 | marinate the anchovies in a deep dish
in just enough vinegar to cover for about ten minutes. Drain thoroughly, put them on a
plate and sprinkle with the garlic, oregano, olive oil, salt and chilli pepper. |

serving plate and arrange the prepared anchovies on each slice while still hot |
